I’ve named my character Ozzy, and he is the uncensored human. In a world defined by constructed images and idolization of our super stars, we have been led to equate success and good looks with personal satisfaction. Poised in the nude, Ozzy redefines super star. Because despite his blue hair and big belly, he greets you with genuineness and a sense of self-acceptance. This is why I also take my work to the streets, painting Ozzy as murals, so he can exist in our “civilized” environment and remind us that it’s okay to let it all hang out and be at peace with who we are.
